Gospel Revolution: Chad Holtz - The Bride Has No Choice




In this Gospel Revolution podcast, Pastor Chad Holtz, who lost his job for posting a note on his Facebook page in support of Rob Bell's new book Love Wins, was our scheduled guest. Pastor Holtz shared his personal journey in the understanding of God's grace and universal reconciliation of all humanity from experiences in his own life. These experiences reminded Mike Williams of the spiritual marriage where the bride has no choice in the marriage and no right to divorce. He illuminated that in this case, God the father chose the heathen of this world as his Son's bride and the Son himself said he would never leave us nor forsake us.  Pastor Ted Winsett called in and the question came up about how pastors who realize the completed work of Christ for the whole human race may be reluctant to preach it in their churches. Pastor Ted quickly pointed out that imminent questions were his own concern to which Mike also agreed.  Tom Tonsky of Canton, OH called in to point out the difference in the New Testament of 2 accounts of 2 personal salvations and the difference between that and redemption of the world.
